(a)    nothing contained in this Act shall affect any person's liability to be prosecuted or punished for offences 
                 committed under the repealed Act before the coming into operation of this Act, or any proceedings brought 
                 or sentence imposed before that day in respect of such offence;

        (b)    any proceedings, whether civil or criminal, or cause of action pending or existing immediately before the 
                 coming into operation of this Act shall be continued or instituted under the repealed law as if this Act had 
                 not been made;

        (c)    any right, privilege, obligation or liability acquired, accrued or incurred under the repealed Act and any legal 
                proceedings (civil or criminal) or remedy in respect of such right, privilege, obligation or liability shall not be 
                affected and any such legal proceedings or remedy may be instituted or enforced under the relevant 
                provisions of this Act.
